It is light, strong and keeps its shape. The rim can be very thin, so the frame stays modest and lets your face do the talking. The colour is in the metal: from gold and rose gold to gunmetal and matt black, often with a coloured front.<\/p><h2>Acetate: colour and character<\/h2><p>Acetate is a plastic based on natural raw materials, such as cotton and wood pulp. The material is fuller and warmer than metal. It lends itself to colours you cannot get in titanium: transparent tints, colour gradients and the classic havana and tortoiseshell pattern. An acetate frame has more presence. It is meant to be seen.<\/p><h2>The best of both<\/h2><p>In our collection the two come together. An acetate front with ultra-thin titanium temples.
